SOTSK CLIMBS CAPITOL HILL

On Tuesday, Kenna, Dr. Z, Emile, Lupe, Elizabeth Gore, Santi, SOTSK staff and reps from UNHCR meet with Rep. Earl Blumenauer to discuss the issue of water and SOTSK’s determination to create real change in the area. Our focus in DC was to motivate members of Congress to push forward more funds to the global clean water crisis. So far, we’re hearing that we didn’t just climb a mountain, we’re also starting to move them!

Tuesday evening, Rep. Blumenauer hosted an advance screening of the MTV documentary for about 100 guests at the Library of Congress.
